This session of the Reading Club is free to the public for students who register by 8/31/2018. Students get 70 free online lessons in English & Spanish to quickly improve their reading & spelling skills. You will work at your own pace at home and may optionally purchase the Teacher's Manual.

This intense, 70-lesson program quickly trains students in the pronunciation, spelling, meaning and usage of over 500 words most commonly used in English.  It is targeted for 3rd grade students, or any student who is able to sound out words but is not yet a fluent, independent reader.

​Every lesson is fully translated into Spanish, so students can completely understand the instructions and the contextual sentences.  

• ​This is our first large-scale session of the new OnSchooler Reading Club.  We are expecting about 100 students and we will be filming during the class to create training videos for schools and material for our Facebook page and other social media.
• Each student needs to bring a laptop, tablet or smartphone with wi-fi for the online lessons.
• To keep this session completely free, we're asking each family to provide one adult volunteer each week, either Monday or Thursday.  The volunteer should be at least 14 years old and fluent in English or Spanish.  The volunteers will help with setup, check-in, using the online lessons, updating the progress chart and cleanup. (You can request a waiver if no adult is available at this time.)

Most students will not finish all 70 lessons by the end of the summer, so all participants will receive free enrollment in our private Facebook Live group which will meet weekly through December.  ​
