READING CLUB
aka the Bilingual Reading Acceleration Program
Welcome to OnSchooler Reading Club!
This intense, 70-lesson program quickly trains students in the pronunciation, spelling, meaning and usage of over 500 words most commonly used in English. It is targeted for 3rd grade students, or any student who is able to sound out words but is not yet a fluent, independent reader.
Every lesson is fully translated into Spanish, so English Language Learners can completely understand the instructions, definitions, and contextual sentences. More languages will be added in the future.
While most of our programs are half on-line and half hands-on, this program is about 90% online during Reading Club, which means you only need 1-2 instructors to work with 30-40 students.
Your school, business, library or nonprofit can run an effective OnSchooler Reading Club 2-5 days a week to rapidly improve students' reading skills.
OnSchooler Reading Club is supported in part by a National Science Foundation Grant through the Oregon State University Advantage Accelerator.
