Start learning programming in Scratch with Google CS First's unit on Sports, where you wil learn how to program several games and learn other essential programming skills.  Click to see the promo video!  This is a great class for students who have taken a few Scratch classes or another progamming language.

The class has eight lessons, and we'll be doing one class, which meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m.  Homework isn't required, but it's fun!  And we'll be showing some of the best student projects at the start of each new day.  

This class combines all the skills you want your kids to master:  problem solving, creativity, logic, collaboration, and applying new skills in useful ways!  

Each student needs a computer or tablet that meets the system requirements at https://scratch.mit.edu/info/faq, or you can try the Scratch app editor.  

Class dates:  1-2 p.m. on 7/28, 7/30, 8/4, 8/6, 8/11, 8/13, 8/18, 8/20.
