This is Unit 1 in the Knowledge Series (Unit 201).  This is the best place to begin for students who already read at the 3rd grade level or above.

This unit includes 100 on-line lessons for the unit and 146 pages of instructions (including all 100 hands-on lesson plans).  Each of the 100 lessons takes an average of three hours to complete:  80 minutes for the on-line lesson and 80 minutes for the hands-on lesson, with a break in between and setup and cleanup time.  Final exams for each of the Major Subjects are included in the instruction manual.
 
A student on the Standard schedule completes two lessons each day. Some older or fast-moving students may progress faster; for these an Annual Unlimited Account is the best value.
